A team of 4 males driving a Honda fit new shape (license number unknown) have reportedly committed a robbery at Chikarudzo turn of, Muchakata, Masvingo. The men arrived at a roadbloack manned by Muchakata police. They ordered the police to lie down and produced three pistols. One man fired 3 shots in the air and ordered a police officer to remove his shirt and pair of riot trousers.
They also demanded shoes and an STU cap from another police officer as well as two cell before heading towards Renco. This incident occured on 11/01/24 around 1530 hours. The crime rate has reached an alarming rate, to the point where we have police officers robbed.
