Zimbabwean Defender Teenage Hadebe Signs with Turkish Club Teenage Hadebe, the Zimbabwean international defender, has completed a move to Turkish top-flight team Konyaspor on a short-term contract that will see him through the end of the current season.

The 28-year-old recently became a free agent after departing Major League Soccer outfit Houston Dynamo in December. Hadebe was officially introduced by Konyaspor on Friday. Expressing his gratitude, Hadebe shared a tweet holding the number 15 jersey of Konyaspor.

Currently situated in the 19th position out of the 20 teams in the league with 22 points, Konyaspor is just four points away from surpassing the next four teams above them. They have recorded one loss in their previous five matches.

With the third weakest defense in the league, Konyaspor’s recruitment of the former Highlanders player signals their intention to strengthen their backline. Hadebe is no stranger to the Turkish top flight, having previously featured for Yeni Malatyaspor before his recent move to Konyaspor.
