14-year old Awakhiwe Tshalibe registered by Chicken Inn to play in the Premier League

A 14-year-old football prodigy from Bulawayo, Awakhiwe ‘Awa’ Tshalibe, has been signed to the first-team squad of Chicken Inn, a former Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champion. The young talent, currently a Form Two student at Mpopoma High School, has been nurtured by the club since his junior days.

Tshalibe’s exceptional skills and bravery on the field caught the attention of Chicken Inn during the CAF Schools Championship held in December 2023. He led Zimbabwe’s U-15 side to a bronze medal finish and a prize of US$50,000, leaving an indelible mark on the tournament with his silky play.
