Dalumuzi Mhlanga is the Founder & CEO of Notto Inc., a fintech start-up focused on credit scoring in Africa, specializing in providing access to affordable residential mortgages.
Dalumuzi holds an AB in Social Studies from Harvard University, an MSc in African Studies from Oxford University, and an MBA in Business Administration from Oxford (as a Rhodes Scholar).
Before transitioning to full-time entrepreneurship, Dalumuzi held the position of Group Chief of Staff at Econet. In this capacity, he collaborated closely with the Founder and Chairman Mr Masiiwa, as well as senior executives from the company’s subsidiaries, offering strategic and operational guidance at the group level.
Before entering the corporate realm, Dalumuzi managed a substantial impact investment portfolio of more than 30 groundbreaking education projects spanning 50 countries for the corporate Foundation of Vitol Group. He also instructed leadership courses for Master’s students at the Harvard Kennedy School while still an undergraduate, and established a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the leadership and entrepreneurship skills of numerous young individuals in Bhutan, Eswatini, the USA, UAE, and Zimbabwe.
Dalumuzi believes in humility, courage, and curiosity taking us far as Zimbabwean youth. By advocating for taking calculated risks, he believes everyone can play a role in fostering positive change in the world.
