Zimpapers, a state-owned entity, has implemented a new policy prohibiting employees from accepting lavish gifts following a situation where businessman Wicknell Chivayo gifted radio presenters Phathisani Sibanda and Tinashe Chikuse with cars.
This move was reportedly prompted by the need to uphold ethical conduct within the organization. According to reports, the policy restricts employees from accepting gifts valued over US$100. This decision was made in response to the recent incident involving Chivayo’s generous gestures towards the radio presenters.
