Gamue Wenyu is an afro jazz and soul musician aged 23. She began by recording a song called Nyakubereka amai which stole many people’s hearts as it was based on a true story.

It was triggered by the passing on of her grandmother whom she grew up staying with. Gamue Wenyu has managed to work on a number of projects that are; Teerera, I do, Wakandivimbisa, Ari kupi, Nzira, Weminana, Chishuwo, Chikomana CheGuruve and Hatina zororo. She also worked on Mavanga cover which came with a video. Mavanga was originally done by Mbeu.

Another project was Sarungano cover, originally done by Jah Prayzah and Feli Nandi. Apart from being a musician, Gamue Wenyu is an actress, video vixen, voice over artist, model, scriptwriter, mistress of ceremonies and a social media influencer.

In the acting sector, she featured on a local film titled Zuvarashe. Also does campaigns against gender based violence, she recently did a photo story about an abusive and unsupportive husband, in the story she played victim.
