Belarus is sending humanitarian aid to Zimbabwe, according to a resolution adopted by the Council of Ministers. The aid is intended to support the people of Zimbabwe in a time of need.
The aid will be collected and registered by various ministries, including the Emergencies Ministry, Healthcare Ministry, Industry Ministry, Agriculture and Food Ministry, and the Belarusian State Concern for Production and Sale of Light Industry Goods. These ministries will work together to gather and prepare the aid for shipment to Zimbabwe.
The aid package includes about 60 items, such as canned meat, medicines, household soap, bedspreads, blankets, children’s coats, jackets, and half-boots. These essential items will help to provide comfort and support to those in need in Zimbabwe.
The Emergencies Ministry will ensure the organization of the delivery of the humanitarian aid to Zimbabwe. The resolution came into force on the date of its adoption, and the aid is expected to be shipped to Zimbabwe soon.
