The Zanu PF Youth League has issued a scathing response to controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo’s recent statements, distancing themselves from his questionable activities.

While acknowledging Chivayo’s donations to the community, the Youth League emphasized their unawareness of the sources of his income and warned they won’t tolerate any actions that tarnish President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s name for personal gain.

The Youth League also clarified a viral video showing them with Chivayo at Joshua Nkomo International Airport, stating they were actually awaiting the President’s arrival for the 2024 Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF).

In a separate statement, Chivayo denied involvement in viral voice notes linked to him, claiming they were generated using advanced technology.
