Zimbabwean Dancer Tendai Malvine Makurumbandi honoured in Norway

Tendai Malvine Makurumbandi recently won the Heddapris award for Best Stage Performance, the highest honor in performing arts in Norway for his latest dance production, “My Song.”

In a statement he said “I want to share my joy and inspire others from less privileged backgrounds, showing that hard work and consistency can lead to great achievements.“

Tendai M. Makurumbandi is a professional dancer and choreographer based in Kristiansund, Norway.

He holds an MA in Choreography from Oslo National Academy of the Arts and BA in dance and choreography from the National Ballet of Zimbabwe. #Congrats
