Located in Houghton Park, Harare Zimbabwe,  Shuzeff Entertainment is a registered Hip-hop recording company which started back in 2016 but it was officially launched in March  2022 in order to provide an audio recording, mixing and mastering environment to the artists under the stable and to those who are interested in music business from the neighborhood and surrounding areas.

Dandaroonline learned that Shuzeff Entertainment is owned by Prince Kudzai Ndiraire, aka Prince Kudzie, and Ronald Toziva Mzembi, aka Big Muzzy. It was founded by Prince Kudzie and his late best friend, Shepard Nyapadi, aka Big Sharps. After Big Sharps passed away, Big Muzzy, who is also a brother to Prince Kudzie, joined the company and partnered to secure the recording equipment, registering the company and officially launching it in March 2022.

The owners of Shuzeff Entertainment (Prince and Muzzy) are currently the artists signed by the stable, and Michael Magz, who is a friend of the Shuzeff family, is the in-house producer. Shuzeff is a code name for Tisu Shumba dzacho, meaning to say we are the lion kings and we rule Zimhiphop.

The recording company is currently funded by its owners.

“As a recording studio, we’re uplifting the talents of the neighborhood by providing recording opportunities at affordable prices. Everyone in the community has access to the studio right now.” Said Prince Kudzie

In an interview with this publication, the co-founder of Shuzeff Entertainment, Prince Kudzai Ndiraire, said the community should always initiate programs that encourage and educate youths to stay away from drugs.

“As a recording company, we’re looking forward to starting music live events in the community that campaign against drug trafficking and abuse once we get enough funds to do that.” he said

“The major challenge we’re facing right now is finance. We need money to finance our recording label.

Right now, we cannot talk about our achievements as a stable since we have not yet gained mainstream recognition for our music catalog,” said Shuzeff Boss.

“We need help with finances so that we will be able to fund each and every project within the stable.

We have worked with a lot of underground artists, but most of them are not able to get their music on national radios,” he further explains.

Prince Kudzie is the founder, owner, and CEO of Shuzeff Enterprise. He is also signed under his own recording label as a recording artist and a record producer.

Kudzi is 29 years old, and he started music back in 2013 when he was still in high school, together with my late best friend Big Sharps.

“My journey as an artist is a long story. I’ve been in different musical circles, and I once worked with artists like Ti Gonzi, Natasha Muz, and Beavy City, just to mention a few.

Before we had Shuzeff Recording Studio, I was produced by Jamal No Limits, Big Bass Ent, Gangsta made it, and Leekay Music,” said Prince Kudzie.

“Some of my past releases managed to get airplay at Zifm, Starfm, and Power FM.”

Prince Kudzie said, “My mission is to create a hip-hop empire that provides opportunities to our local hip-hop talents and makes them competitive on the international market.

“The vision is to put Shuzeff Entertainment as an independent recording label in a position where it can strike distribution, publishing deals, etc. with major record companies like Sony Entertainment, Universal Music, Warner Music, etc.”

“To my fellow young brothers and sisters out there who are on this journey, my word of advice is to stay committed and be consistent; brick by brick, you will eventually get there because it’s all about hard work, dedication, and patience,” he noted.

So far, I’ve only released an EP, I AM THE FUTURE. It’s available on all DSPs, and I’m looking forward to dropping new music starting this winter.
