Zimbabwean midfielder Tivonge Rushesha has signed a new one-year deal with English club Reading, extending his stay at the Madejski Stadium.
Rushesha, who joined Reading in August 2023 after a successful trial, has struggled for game time in the senior team. However, the club has shown faith in the 25-year-old, offering him a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2024.
The news is a boost for Zimbabwean football fans, who will be hoping to see Rushesha feature more prominently for Reading in the coming season.
With his contract situation now resolved, Rushesha can focus on impressing manager Paul Ince and earning a regular spot in the starting lineup.
