Our #WCW today is Dr. Eldrette Shereni, a renowned business leader and marketing expert with over 22 years of experience in strategic marketing management and leadership.
Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Dr. Shereni grew up with a passion for learning and a drive to succeed. She attended local schools in Zimbabwe, where she excelled academically and developed a strong foundation in business and marketing. She later pursued higher education at the University of Canterbury, where she earned an MBA in Business Leadership. She also holds a Doctorate in Business Administration in International Business Leadership from Sheffield State University.
Dr. Shereni’s educational background includes a Grad. Diploma in Business Economics and Commerce, Post Grad Dip. Marketing Management with Chartered Institute of Marketing UK, MBA in Business Leadership- University of Canterbury, MBL – In Executive Leadership and DBA in International Business Leadership with Sheffield State University.
Dr. Shereni has worked across various sectors, including hospitality, ICT, insurance, banking, and financial services. She has held multiple leadership positions, including Executive Marketing Director, NetOne Cellular Pvt Ltd Zimbabwe, Head- Group Marketing & Corporate Affairs for CBZ Holdings, and Managing Consultant at Korliks Consultancy. She has also served on various boards, including the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe and Lions Club International.
Dr. Shereni is a dedicated mentor and coach, empowering women and youth to achieve their full potential. She is a Fellow in Marketing and has received numerous awards for her contributions to marketing and leadership. She is a true icon and role model, demonstrating that with determination and hard work, anyone can achieve their dreams. We celebrate her today and recognize her as a true game-changer in the world of business and leadership.
