Our #MCM today is Nkosana Mazibisa, a trailblazing entrepreneur and business leader from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Nkosana grew up in Bulawayo.
Nkosana’s childhood was marked by a curiosity and passion for learning. He attended local schools in Bulawayo, where he excelled academically and developed a keen interest in business and entrepreneurship.
After completing high school, Nkosana pursued higher education, studying business and entrepreneurship in college. It was during this period that he began to hone his skills and develop a keen understanding of the business world. Upon graduation, Nkosana worked for several years in various industries, gaining valuable experience and insights that would later inform his own business ventures.
Nkosana’s entrepreneurial journey began with a bold decision to resign from his job and start his own business. Despite initial reservations from family and friends, he remained resolute in his pursuit of creating something meaningful. He founded two companies: Swaad, a food retail brand based in India, and Mazibisa Inc., a brand strategy consultancy firm.
Nkosana’s hard work and dedication have earned him numerous accolades, including:

– Youngest School Development Committee (SDC) chair in Zimbabwe’s history
– Built a state-of-the-art computer science laboratory
– Working on a $2-million double-storey lecture theater block and multi-purpose swimming pool project
