Australian police have made a significant drug bust, arresting a Zimbabwean man for illegal possession of 896 kilograms of methamphetamine. The drugs, valued at $829 million, were found at the man’s farm in Australia.
According to Australian Federal Police’s Detective Superintendent Peter Forgaty, the man received the drugs from the United States. However, an anonymous tip-off led to his arrest, foiling his illicit activities.
The Zimbabwean man, who has been living in Australia for some time, is now facing serious charges related to drug possession and trafficking.
