The inaugural Miss Teen of the Universe Zimbabwe pageant took place on Saturday night in Bulawayo, culminating in the crowning of 19-year-old Victoria Ncube as the winner. Out of 14 talented models from across the country, Ncube emerged victorious, showcasing her poise, intelligence, and beauty.
Ncube, who hails from Umguza district in Matabeleland North, expressed her gratitude and faith in God, vowing to represent Zimbabwe with pride at the international competition in India. Her win comes with exciting prizes, including a car and a scholarship.
Deputy Minister of Sport, Arts and Recreation Emily Jesaya praised the pageant as a positive initiative that aligns with the ministry’s goals, promoting youth empowerment and talent development. The event was held at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre (ZIEC) in Bulawayo.
