Two Zimbabwean sprinters, Tapiwa Makarawu and Makanakaishe Charamba, are making waves at the Paris 2024 Olympics, showcasing their talent and determination on the global stage.

Tapiwa Makarawu has advanced to the semi-finals of the 200m event after coming in second in his heat with a time of 20:07 seconds. This impressive performance has earned him a spot in the next stage of the competition, scheduled for Wednesday.
Makanakaishe Charamba is also through to the semi-finals, finishing second in his 200m race. He will join Makarawu in the next round, as both athletes continue their quest for Olympic glory.
