The 44th SADC Summit delegation kicked off their day with a visit to the Geo Pomona Waste Management Plant, showcasing innovative approaches to sustainable waste management.

Next, the delegation headed to the Museum of African Liberation, where plans are underway to establish the SADC National Liberation Square. This historic site will honor the region’s liberation struggle and serve as a symbol of unity and solidarity among SADC member states.
