Zimbabwe international Teenage Hadebe is on the verge of securing a move to FC Cincinnati in the United States’ Major League Soccer (MLS). The 28-year-old defender is finalizing a deal with the Ohio-based club, marking his return to the American top flight after previously playing for Houston Dynamo.
Hadebe made 56 appearances for Houston Dynamo before departing at the end of last season. He then had a brief four-month stint with Turkish side Konyaspor. Although the MLS transfer window closed on August 14, clubs can still sign free agents until September 13, paving the way for Hadebe’s potential move.
FC Cincinnati currently sits second in the Eastern Conference, six points behind leaders Inter Miami with eight matches remaining. The addition of Hadebe could bolster their squad as they push for a strong finish to the season.
On the international front, Hadebe has been included in the Warriors’ squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Kenya and Cameroon in Uganda early next month.
