Starlink, the satellite internet service created by SpaceX, has officially launched in Zimbabwe as of September 6, 2024. This launch promises to revolutionize the country’s internet landscape with its fast and affordable connectivity options.

Starlink users in Zimbabwe can expect download speeds of up to 200Mbps, making it ideal for streaming, online gaming, and remote working.

Starlink offers two residential packages in Zimbabwe: The cheapest hardware package costs US$223, including shipping, and the internet service costs US$30 a month. The top-end unlimited package costs US$373 for the hardware, including delivery, and the monthly fee is US$50.

Users can order their Starlink equipment directly from the website and pay using various methods, including credit/debit cards and EcoCash.
