Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana has revealed that Zimbabwe gave his team a run for their money in their recent Afcon 2025 qualifier, describing the match as “a little bit hard”.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Onana acknowledged that the Warriors put pressure on Cameroon, forcing them to dig deep for a positive result.
“We knew it was going to be a tough game, and Zimbabwe gave us a lot of pressure,” Onana said.
Despite the challenges, Onana expressed confidence in Cameroon’s ability to qualify for Afcon 2025, downplaying Zimbabwe’s chances of causing an upset.
