Zimbabwean boxing champion, Charles Manyuchi, is relocating to Zambia to establish a boxing academy and promotion business. Manyuchi, a former WBC Silver welterweight champion, cited prohibitive costs in Zimbabwe as the reason for his move.

The relocation is a significant loss for Zimbabwe’s boxing fraternity but is expected to boost Zambia’s boxing scene. Manyuchi’s expertise and network will help develop emerging talent and attract international partnerships.
