Just days before his passing, armed robbers invaded Chief Marupi’s homestead in Gwanda South, seizing a new Isuzu vehicle he was recently given by President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa’s government, two mobile phones, and R3,200. Close relatives said the robbers tied Marupi with ropes and wires before dashing off with their loot. Police investigations are in progress.
