Trevor Simbarashe Mbizvo, a South African-based Zimbabwean businessman also known as “Hell Commander,” has been slapped with rape and fraud charges. The allegations stem from his alleged forgery of an HIV medical certificate, which led to him exposing his South African girlfriend, Laisy Ramokone, to the disease through unprotected sex.
According to reports, Mbizvo’s actions have left Ramokone with a lifelong health battle. The incident has sparked outrage, highlighting concerns about fraudulent medical documentation and the deliberate transmission of infectious diseases. Mbizvo’s attempts to quash the charges have been unsuccessful, despite submitting representations to the National Director of Public Prosecution (NDPP) to have the matter struck off the court roll.
Mbizvo is set to appear at the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on November 7 to face the charges. The case has raised questions about accountability and the consequences of such actions.
