Kwekwe United has made history by securing promotion to the Premier Soccer League (PSL) after winning the ZIFA Central Region Soccer League title with an unassailable 71 points and one game to spare.

This milestone marks the return of top-flight football to Kwekwe after a 16-year absence, with Lancashire Steel being the last team from the city to compete in the PSL.
