A weather forecast has been issued for Zimbabwe, with Mashonaland East and Manicaland provinces expected to experience cloudy, windy, and warm conditions. These provinces may also receive heavy rainfall due to remnant moisture from Tropical Cyclone Chido. Residents in these areas are advised to be prepared for the impending rainfall.
In contrast, the rest of the country is expected to experience briefly cloudy and hot conditions, with isolated thundershowers. While the weather is not expected to be as severe as in the eastern provinces, residents should still be aware of the possibility of thundershowers.
Tropical Cyclone Chido, which is driving the weather patterns in the region, is currently located in the Indian Ocean over the Comoros Island. The cyclone is heading towards the northern parts of Mozambique, and its remnants are expected to continue affecting the weather in Zimbabwe.
