A new association, the Content Creators Association of Zimbabwe (COCAZ), has been formed to support and empower content creators in the country. According to Victor ‘Doc Vikela’ Mpofu, renowned content creator and interim committee chairperson of COCAZ, the association’s vision is to create a vibrant and sustainable new media industry. Mpofu outlined the association’s vision during its unveiling in Shamva, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and support among content creators.

The formation of COCAZ is a significant step towards promoting the growth and development of the new media industry in Zimbabwe. By providing a platform for content creators to come together, share ideas, and support one another, COCAZ is poised to play a key role in shaping the future of the industry.
