Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Simba’s journey to success began with his education. He pursued his law degree at the University of Zimbabwe, where he was an active member of the student community. During his time at the university, Simba served as an editor for the student law review and represented the university in the prestigious Jessup International Law Moot Court.

After completing his law degree, Simba’s passion for technology and innovation led him to co-found Lexware Inc., a tech company that provides innovative technological solutions for the legal profession in Africa. The idea for the company was born in 2014 when Simba and a university friend created a program called Lex Mobile, which allowed law students to access court judgments and legislation from smartphones without the need for the internet.

Under Simba’s leadership, Lexware Inc. has grown into a leading provider of legal technology solutions in Africa. The company has worked with over 50 young freelance developers, creating opportunities for them to utilize their skills in software development. Lexware Inc. has also done business with many prestigious law firms across the continent.

In addition to his work at Lexware Inc., Simba is also the COO of LawBasket, a company he co-founded to provide an online legal service marketplace that aims to provide affordable law services to individuals and businesses in Africa. Simba’s vision for LawBasket is to make it the “Uber of legal services” in Africa.

Simba’s achievements have not gone unnoticed. In 2018, he was named one of Forbes Africa’s 30 Under 30 in Technology. He has also been recognized as a Mandela Washington Fellow under the US State Department’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI).
