4 Arrested for Theft and Vandalism in Mutoko

Police in Mutoko have made a breakthrough arrest, apprehending four suspects, including Anderson Takawira, at a roadblock along Harare Nyamapanda Road. The suspects were caught in connection with stealing transformer oil, vandalizing a ZETDC transformer, and theft of armored cables.

The successful arrest led to the recovery of the suspects’ getaway car, a Toyota Aqua, as well as various tools and stolen items. Among the recovered items were bolts, nuts, two scales, spanners, a knife, and armored cables. The police’s swift action has disrupted the suspects’ alleged criminal activities and potentially prevented further damage to ZETDC infrastructure.
