Prophet Walter Magaya, president of Yadah FC, has made a significant contribution to the development of women’s soccer in Zimbabwe. He has availed the use of The Heart Stadium in Waterfalls, which includes the Main and B Arena, for teams participating in the Zimbabwe Women Soccer Premier League (ZWSPL). This generous offer will provide a top-notch facility for teams such as Harare City Queens, Black Rhinos Queens, and Maningi Youth Soccer Academy to train and compete.

Magaya’s commitment to women’s soccer was evident during his address at the ZWSPL annual general meeting held at Yadah Hotel on Saturday. He assured the teams that they would have unrestricted access to the stadium, stating, “You are going to use the stadiums as per your request.” This gesture demonstrates Magaya’s dedication to supporting the growth of women’s soccer in Zimbabwe.

Last year, Magaya invested US$320,000 in sponsorship for women’s soccer, showcasing his ongoing commitment to the sport. By providing access to The Heart Stadium, Magaya is further solidifying his support for women’s soccer in Zimbabwe. This partnership is expected to have a positive impact on the development of women’s soccer in the country, providing teams with the resources they need to succeed.
