A domestic dispute turned deadly in Glen View, Harare, when a 31-year-old woman, Sandra Ndoyiwa, struck her husband, Nixon Jemedze, 50, on the head with a pot, resulting in his death. The incident occurred on March 7 at around 3 am, following a heated argument over infidelity issues in their bedroom.
According to reports, the argument escalated, and Sandra picked up a small black Kango pot, striking Nixon on the forehead and the back of the head, causing deep cuts. Nixon was rushed to Chamas Private Hospital in Glen Norah, where he was admitted but succumbed to his injuries the following day.
The incident highlights the growing concern of domestic violence and the need for couples to seek help in resolving their conflicts peacefully. The police are investigating the matter, and Sandra is expected to face charges related to her husband’s death.
