A heartbroken Zimbabwean woman attempted to take her own life and that of her two children after discovering that her husband had secretly married another woman. The woman, who has not been named, sent a distress message to socialite Jackie Ngarande, stating her intention to commit suicide. Upon arrival, they found the woman and her three children unconscious, having overdosed on pills and ingested rat poison. The woman’s husband, identified as Watson, had reportedly married another woman over the weekend, which led to his wife’s desperate actions. The husband was notified of the incident but failed to appear at the hospital by lunchtime.
