
Dingo Duke, born Munyaradzi Winston Dzwekesu on July 4, 1995, is an acclaimed MC, singer, and songwriter from Harare, Zimbabwe. He began composing music at a young age and adopted the nickname “Dingo” from his older brother, who shares the same name and introduced him to Hip-Hop artists like DMX, Dr. Dre, Nas, and the Wu-Tang Clan. In addition to Hip-Hop, Dingo draws inspiration from golden age Afrobeats, 90s kwaito, and Urban Grooves.
His music often revolves around storytelling and protest themes, addressing issues impacting townships and the broader world. To date, he has released three projects: the Imaginary Audience EP (2017), the album The Tavern Hotel (2022), and the collaborative album From Shebeenia, With Love (2023) with fellow rapper Dough Major. Dingo Duke is also a prominent figure in the Shebeen Rap scene, alongside artists such as Ndonzi Beatx, Dough Major, Case Btz, Honey Uchi, and Tatenda LXA, among others.
He has performed at numerous festivals and events, including Shoko, Jibilika, and Amplifaya, as well as various concerts.
