Amalinda Lodge is an escape from the ordinary…a luxury sanctuary that channels the captivating culture and powerful spiritual energy of the renowned Matobo Hills.

Hidden within the rocks of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, Amalinda was designed to provide an exceptional experience while preserving the rich heritage and natural wonders of this otherworldly destination. Matopos National Park is both Zimbabwe’s oldest and smallest National Park, home to rock formations called “kopjes” which date back over 2 million years. Meaning “bald head” in the local Ndebele language, Matobo provides endless landscapes and an opportunity to see one of Africa’s most iconic endangered species…the rhino.
