A disturbing incident of road rage and mob violence unfolded in Greater Noida’s Beta 2 area on Sunday evening, when a Zimbabwean couple, Michael and Amma, were allegedly assaulted and their car vandalized. The couple, who reside in a rented accommodation in Sector Xu, Greater Noida, and work at a private company, were driving to run some errands when the incident occurred.
According to reports, Michael accidentally hit a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction, ridden by 25-year-old deliveryman Aryan. A heated argument ensued, which quickly escalated into violence. The mob, comprising deliverymen and others, allegedly assaulted Michael and broke the windshield and window glasses of his car.
