Sango Wildlife Lodge is a beautiful hidden gem located near Chiredzi in the heart of the Save Valley Conservancy, Zimbabwe.
This vast private game reserve offers a truly unique experience, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the wilderness with opportunities to see the “Big Five” – lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo – roaming freely in their natural habitat.
The lodge balances luxury and adventure, with cozy, well-appointed accommodations surrounded by breathtaking African landscapes. Guests can enjoy a range of activities, including guided game drives, bird-watching, bush walks, and night safaris, all led by knowledgeable guides who provide fascinating insights into the region’s wildlife and ecosystems.
Whether you’re a wildlife enthusiast, eco-tourist, or photographer, Sango Wildlife Lodge promises a memorable stay where adventure meets tranquility.

The Sango Wildlife Conservancy is internationally known for successful and sustainable conservation. Starting out in 1992 with just a failed cattle farm and very little wildlife. Today Sango’s Rhino population counts 120 Black and White Rhino, more than 600 Elephants, lions, leopards, painted wild dogs, crocodiles and a variety of amazing birdlife and plans game. These achievements are making  Sango Wildlife Conservancy the success story in Zimbabwe and Southern Africa.

Sango Wildlife Conservancy serves as a crucial wildlife corridor, linking the arid northern region of Savé Valley with the more verdant southern ecosystem. This conservancy benefits from a low-risk malaria environment and experiences a pleasant, temperate climate reminiscent of spring from April to October. The region transitions to a hot, rainy season during November, December, and January.
