He went on to play for Gunners Harare and Dynamos in Zimbabwe before making a significant impact in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League with Polokwane City and SuperSport United.
Chigova’s international career was equally impressive, representing Zimbabwe 32 times and showcasing his skills on the global stage. He played a crucial role in Zimbabwe’s fourth-place finish at the 2014 African Nations Championship and helped secure two COSAFA Cup titles in 2017 and 2018. His achievements earned him recognition as one of Zimbabwe’s finest goalkeepers.
