Mary Mubaiwa, the ex-wife of Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, has been dealt a significant blow as her appeal for a permanent stay of prosecution was dismissed by the court. Harare Regional Magistrate Feresi Chakanyuka cited delays primarily caused by the defense as the reason for dismissing Mubaiwa’s appeal.
