A student teacher at Guinea Fowl High School was found dead in a room at the school premises, leaving the community in shock. Keener Tsanana, 21, was discovered lying lifeless in the room on January 25 at around 8 pm. Her body bore signs of a violent struggle, with a swollen forehead and bruises all over her body.
According to reports, Keener was last seen on Saturday in the company of her boyfriend, Valentine Tamuka Zivera, 27, a student at Hillside Teachers College in Bulawayo.
Police found Valentine’s belongings in the room where Keener’s body was discovered, but his whereabouts are currently unknown. The circumstances surrounding Keener’s death are still unclear, and an investigation is underway.
