Tafadzwa Chidawa, popularly known as Detective Kedha, has broken his silence following his arrest for allegedly operating an illegal disciplinary camp. Chidawa and his co-accused, Clara Manyepera, were granted bail of US$300 each and are scheduled to return to court on April 20. They are facing charges of running an unregistered disciplinary camp in New Marlborough, Harare, in violation of the Private Voluntary Organizations Act and the Children’s Act.
Chidawa has refuted the allegations, stating that Matrix Disciplinary Camp is a legally registered company, not a Private Voluntary Organization. He clarified that the camp provides specialized training and disciplinary services, including disciplinary training programs, leadership development courses, team-building exercises, and security services, all offered at a competitive fee.
Despite his arrest, Chidawa reassured clients that Matrix Disciplinary Camp remains operational, committed to delivering exceptional services that meet the highest standards of quality and professionalism. The camp’s operations are ongoing as usual, and Chidawa invited clients to inquire about their services and fees.
