Zimbabwean dancehall artist Silent Killer, whose real name is Ngwere, was set to perform at the SAMA Festival in the UK but failed to board his flight due to a disturbing dream. According to Fred Matenga of Y2K Promotions, Silent Killer had a vivid nightmare that his flight would explode, which led to him locking himself in an airport toilet and refusing to travel.
Despite having his ticket and visa in order, Silent Killer’s superstition got the better of him, and he opted not to take the flight. Matenga described the situation as “sounding like fiction,” highlighting the unusual circumstances that prevented the artist from traveling.
The SAMA Festival UK went ahead without Silent Killer’s participation, leaving fans disappointed.
