An exciting opportunity for a Driver position has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate at Allied Timbers Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd.
Allied Timbers Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd is a prominent local and international provider of high-quality, durable timber-based solutions for industrial, domestic and end-user markets. The successful candidate will report to the Customer Service Manager and will be based in Mutare.

Operate Class 2 vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
Ensure that company products are transported to their scheduled destinations on time
Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
Communicate effectively with dispatch staff and customers
Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company policies
Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations
Ability to follow route maps and delivery instructions
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks
Remuneration
A remuneration package commensurate with education and experience will be given to the successful candidate.
Possess a Valid Class 2 Driver’s license, medical, Defensive driving and a re-test
Must be 25 years and above
Proven experience in a similar role preferred (minimum of 3 years)
Clean driving record with good references
Minimum of 3 ‘O’ level
