Princess of Monaco, Charlene, was born on 25 January 1978 at Mater Dei Hospital in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
The family relocated to South Africa in 1989, when Princess Charlene was 12 years old. Princess Charlene is the wife of Albert II, Prince of Monaco.
Princess Charlene and Prince Albert of Monaco announced their engagement in 2010 and the couple was married in a civil ceremony on 1 July 2011 in the Throne Room of the Prince’s Palace.
