Maringwa will continue serving on the division’s board, working alongside Egypt’s Magdy Abdelghani and Kenya’s Terry Ouko. The trio brings a wealth of experience and regional representation to the board, tasked with steering FIFPRO Africa’s strategic direction and strengthening its influence within global football governance.

Meanwhile, former Cameroon international Geremie Njitap was re-elected as President of FIFPRO Africa. A two-time Africa Cup of Nations winner, Njitap’s continued leadership signals stability and continuity for the organization, as it seeks to expand its reach and impact in advocating for players’ rights across Africa.
